Terms of Service

Last updated: March 3, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Social Scoot's services, website, and applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Social Scoot ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Service.

Social Scoot may revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our Terms of Service.

2. Platform Terms and Policies

Social Scoot is a social media management platform that enables users to:

  • Schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms
  • Analyze social media performance and engagement
  • Manage multiple social media accounts
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Access content management and planning tools

3. Eligibility and Registration

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Complete the registration process
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Have the authority to enter into this agreement
  • Not be prohibited by law from using our Service

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Our Service offers various subscription plans with different features and pricing. By subscribing:

  • You agree to pay all applicable fees according to your chosen plan
  • Payments are processed through our authorized payment processors
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • AI features are only available on applicable paid subscription plans.
  • All subscription fees are non-refundable. Due to the nature of our Service — where API usage, AI generation credits, and platform resources are consumed at the time of request — we are unable to offer refunds once a subscription payment has been processed.
  • We may modify pricing with 30 days notice

If you face bugs or issues with your subscription, please reach out to our support team at support@socialscoot.app so we can help you.

5. User Content and Rights

You agree that Social Scoot may process and distribute any content published through us via the technology and tools provided by the Service. You agree that you are posting such content willingly, and you represent that:

  • You own such content or have received the necessary authorizations from third parties
  • You have all rights required to publish the content
  • The publishing of the content by you complies with all applicable laws
  • Your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party

You agree that all content delivered via the Service or made available by Social Scoot on the website is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights and laws. You grant Social Scoot the right to act as an agent on your behalf as the Service's operator for the purpose of publishing and managing your content.

By using YouTube through Social Scoot, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You can refer to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy to understand how your data is used when shared with YouTube and Google. If you wish to revoke Social Scoot's access to YouTube, you can do so from the Google Security Settings Page.

By connecting other third-party platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, or others), you agree to be bound by their respective Terms of Service and privacy policies. It is advisable to review third-party terms yourself. If you wish to revoke Social Scoot's access to any connected platform, you may do so through that platform's security or app settings.

In addition to the above-mentioned services, we may share your data with additional third-party services. These third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies.

6. External Links

Social Scoot has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Social Scoot of the site. Use of any linked website is at the user's own risk.

Social Scoot will not be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or resource.

7. AI-Generated Content and Commercial Usage Rights

Social Scoot offers AI-powered features that generate images, videos, captions, and other visual content. The following terms apply to AI-generated content:

  • Commercial Usage Rights: Any images, videos, captions, or other visuals generated using Social Scoot's AI features may be used for commercial and monetized purposes. Social Scoot does not claim ownership over AI-generated outputs; you retain full usage rights.

In addition to the social media platforms listed above, we may share your data with additional third-party services in order to provide the Service. These third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies, and it is your responsibility to review them.
